I just purchased the dk gray MAB- first buy from a reseller. Holding my breath - but nervous! Putting a lot of faith in what I have read here - realizing that its the only way to snag the older bags w/ such great leathers. Already received a sweet and reassuring message from seller, so that helps. Now eagerly awaiting arrival of my new-to-me bag!

Arriving todat- Sage MAB with gold HW- the new, crinkly leather- not sure about that one- have to see to decide. Arriving tomorrow, dk grey OS MAB from natasbong on Bonanza. Can't wait!!!
In addition to dk grey MAB, now waiting for stonewashed blue matinee from Tenniswoods on Bonanza. Cut me off NOW! It may be time to sell a few others to fund my RM collection...

I purchased the new one, currently marked down to $365on ebags and amazon. Returned it, because it was redundant with dark grey MAB (from Bonanza). I like the OS leather better, but the new sage crinkle is a lovely color, and a great neutral. This current sage is VERY VERY different from the OS sage/ stamped sage morning-after bags (both sizes) that are pictured all over tPF. There are good pics on both sites- they represent the color and texture quite well. The bag I received was exactly as pictured.
Amazon now has 20% BAGMARCH discount on top of the sale price (for bags sold by/ shipped by Amazon). ebags might well match the additional discount.
I am starting to scare myself a little over on Bonanza. Received dark grey OS MAB, (the Grey Lady) and love her (thank you natasbong). Waiting for OS stonewash blue matinee to arrive tomorrow, thanks to Tennisswoods and USPS Priority mail for soon-to-be-extinct Saturday delivery. The Grey Lady is cuddled up with Miss Blue (sapphire stud MAM) -- waiting for Sister Mattie -- in my leather 'reading chair', so I can admire them from anywhere in the room.
Just purchased a third (thank you Bridgit66)-- this time a very distressed shiny-ish black MAB with gold HW and leopard lining- OS enough to still have three interior sidewall pockets and metal 'Minkoff' badge, yet new-school enough to have zipper pulls, metal interior zipper, and unfinished tassels (instead of o-rings and finished tassels). Maybe that would be middle school (as opposed to OS)???
in any case, she's gorgeous... Also ordered chocolate brown Cupid w/ silver HW-- brand new (and full, brand- new price on Amazon) yet older version with the front and back exterior zip pockets (yet without clip-on tassel). Then I read the whole Cupid thread and learned about the flukey hardware/ handle clips falling apart.
I love the idea of the soft chocolate brown leather/ silver HW combo, especially on a Cupid - as a funky, casual (mostly-cross-body) bag for summer - and reeeeaaallly love the older style w/ zip pockets on both front and back, but i am now leery of putting my trust in this bag- especially at full retail price. Between that and my intervening other purchases, I am leaning toward returning the Cupid, but can't QUITE decide. Any advice/ experiences you could share would be very welcome!
