I've been bad.....I just purchased a Sailor blue Mini Matinee. I couldn't help it...the color was so beautiful with pretty silver hw and I couldn't say no. This is my first Mattie...can someone enable me please?!

congrats! i am so happy you got it! i am really convinced sailor & marine are the same. you will love this color. my favorite combination with the hw/lining. the mini mattie is such a cute bag - perfect size. cant wait to see pics!

This came today...I'm on the fence

It's much more silver and metallic than the pic shows. I thought it would be more of a pewter color.

I wear a lot of Black and thought it would be cute and edgy this fall/winter.

Opinions??

I like pewtery edgy but not a huge fan of sparkly shimmery-- but that such a personality thing. Those who can pull it off usually do so very well. I am not one of those people.

Thanks!!! The lovely ladies here on tpf have gotten me so excited to get this bag! It's helped reduce almost all of my feelings of guilt. Thanks for the info about it..I didn't know sailor blue was a sample color! Do you happen to know what year it was from?

unfortunately i'm not sure what year but i can say that mini matties are rare in general... i don't think RM produced many colors in the mini at all!
