Here is my new ring - this is quite a funny (and sort of impulsive) purchase. I have been speaking to my jeweller about a emerald cut diamond eternity band for AGES. Finally this month I decided to pull the trigger and get one priced up to certain carat weight/specs etc. I've just celebrated a major milestone with work and wanted to mark the occasion. My jeweller came back with prices that I was a little bit surprised by - I know diamonds have gone up since I was last in the market but I still thought it was a little expensive. I was umming and ahhing about what to do last week when I happened to browse the Bluenile website on Friday and guess what? They were having a Black Friday sale and it included a 5.5ct tw emerald cut diamond eternity band at 50% off 
I ended up getting this ring for less than half what I was quoted locally for equivalent carat weight/specs.
When I saw the price, I knew I had to move quickly and this was meant to be my ring. I am so happy with it

Hi ladies! I just looked at this emerald/diamond half eternity ring with the hubby this weekend. What do you ladies think? I own several colored stone rings (sapphire, ruby) so this will be my first emerald. 
Just put a 2.08kt ruby and diamond (i believe the diamonds are .89kt) bracelet in white gold on layaway at my local jewelers so i should have it soon. It is both a blessing and a curse because every time i try to save up for a big ticket item i get side tracked LOL.
I wear the Juste ring everyday, never take it off. It’s definitely an easier daily wear
Wondering if you gals suffer from my current malady. The one piece I honestly need the most are diamond stud earrings. I have a cruddy pair with horrible color and inclusions that I bought a long time ago before I knew any better. I have a lot of very fine jewelry and these just don’t work for me anymore.
However, to spend the $$ I need to get the studs I want leave me frankly unexcited.
My head is constantly turned by more “exciting” pieces.

I’ve been there. I have a hard time spending money on something I already “have” even if it needs to be replaced. I always want to spend my money on something new instead of feeling like I’m using my money on an item I already own

My jeweler is trading the old pair in for me towards the new but I still get stuck on colorful right had rings (don’t need) or cool hoop earrings (don’t need) or another pendant (really don’t need but make me weak in the knees)!

I try to think about how long I’ve wanted the piece (in my case years) and how much longer it’s going to take me if I don’t save. Those big tickets items are the hardest lol.

Thanks! I am leaning this way too. Does it scratch up as much as the Love? Do you find it comfortable? Hopefully the open part doesn't catch on anything. I haven't been able to stop obsessing about it!
I agree it can be hard but focus is key to acquiring the true standout pieces of any collection - be strong
