What makes you loyal to one brand? Or are you?

I have been "loyal" to LV for over 30 years and it's because I have always had a great relationship with my SA at the LV boutique in Dallas. Over the last several years I have strayed.....I really have loved the Prada bags for the high quality and durablity. The Fendi bags for their light weight and unique appearance. And now I am looking at going back to Chanel for an LAX bag or GST. They seem versatile and a bit timeless in style

I guess I'm pretty loyal to Belen Echandia now. I have 7 everyday bags that I use and 6 of them are from BE. I stick with BE because of what the company offers in terms of style, quality, function, price, and customer service. The BE bags I have are beautiful and practical. They are the perfect size for me, they have great organization, they are comfortable on the shoulder, and they stand out with amazing leather and color.

As a bonus, I have never seen anyone else in my area with a BE bag. I love that BE bags are unique since I have no interest in carrying a bag that I see on other women everywhere I go.

I am definitely NOT interested in having only ONE brand. I seek closet diversity. I like to have lots of variety in my collection.
Having more than one of the same brand is atypical for me, let alone 5 colors of the same exact bag. That's just not me.

Many years ago I began buying my wife Coach and remained very loyal pretty much because that is what everyone carries here and it was all I was familiar with. I picked up one of her fasion mags several years ago and became totally hooked. She usually has 2-3 different subscriptions and I would read all of them cover to cover. I began becomming familiar with other designers and totally fell for the Jimmy Choo Saba a little over a year ago. After three JC's (and a lot of $) and a dozen coach bags I began to branch out again with 2 Bulga bags, LV, and the newest a RM Nikki. I think more RM's will be on the horizon but for now my wish list is a Kooba Tracy.

I really love Jimmy Choos but they are expensive and thier are so many others I'd like to have I cant see being loyal to just one brand.

I'm pretty much loyal to Rebecca Minkoff. I've sold off everything else, and have been carrying only her bags for quite some time now. I love the classic, simple designs of both the Morning After bags and the hobo Nikki, then add the amazing colors she uses for an extra pop! For evenings, I love my morning after clutch (MAC)......

I don't think I'm intentionally loyal but I tend to like LV' more than others because of their history, classic designs and inspiration.

Other bags I own are Longchamp, Gucci, Burberry, MJ.

For me it's all about look and quality. It seems to me that many designers have a good quality product for a while, and then some genius at headquarters decides that no one will notice and they throw out quality in favor of profit margin.

But I notice, almost immediately. And that's usually when I switch brands. It almost feels like a personal insult when they do this! :p I tend to be a very, very loyal customer and it feels like when they do this they are trying to put one over on the faithful. So I look elsewhere, and usually find some other designer that's having a good run.

Currently I love Jimmy Choo shoes and bags, Mulberry, BV, and YSL. But I haven't seen anything I want design-wise in a while past my most recent JC purchase.

I tend to stick with a few brands, and lately those brands have been Belen Echandia and Treesje. I am in the process of reorganizing my collection though and will likely end up with just several Belen Echandia bags and 1 Balenciaga soon, though.

I am open to all sorts of brands but tend to stick with smaller independent designers who use top quality materials and designs and offer consistently excellent customer service. Those are the factors that have led me to buy almost nothing but Belen Echandia. I have never been so reluctant to sell a handbag as I am to part with any of my BEs!
