hello all...
just indulge me, as i'd like to hear what everyone has in mind..
i actually have quite a few other brands of purses.. but feel somewhat 'happiest' when i'm carrying my LV's.. :p
another brand i like is Prada ~ its tessuto vela line, which is what i use for more 'carefree' days...

i was just wondering.. what makes you loyal to one brand ~ in our case, Louis Vuitton?

hmmm..... Its not that i'm loyal to one brand. I'm loyal to what i love. But i dont have the money to buy everything a love. So i have to pick and choose, 9.9 out of 10 times its lv. Simply because of the designs and the prints i like better and its easy for me to get too.

I'm not loyal AT ALL! I like to have a variety of styles to meet my every whim so I tend to jump all over the place brand-wise. I do have favorite brands that I tend to keep an eye on for new styles (LV, Botkier, Kooba, Marc Jacobs) but I am not exclusive to any of the brands. I buy what suits my fancy.

i'm appreciating your responses..
sxcruz22 ~ i'm probably at 8 out of 10 = LV..
I'm with you Line C ~ i think because of TPF, i've also gotten quite a bit "obsessed" too.. :blushing:
and unlike you divabeadz ~i have not really been venturing out much.. i should, though..
I've slowly given/sold away a few other brands that don't really see the light of day anymore..
i know exactly how you feel, MyCocoCabas...

I'm not loyal to just one brand, and don't think I'll ever limit my options to just one brand either. I definitely do have brands where I'll always keep an eye out for new styles, though! Right now, some of those brands include Jenny Yuen, Treesje, Botkier, and Ignes. These are brands that catch my eye initially based on their designs, and that will likely keep me as a customer because of good quality and good CS as well.

For a while I was loyal to coach only because I liked coordinating peices, key fobs, charms etc. and I liked coordinating their fun prints with the larger leather peices that I had, it was fun. Also I had no quality issues with their products and they have outlets so that made me buy more. Now I buy from other brands if I like the items and as long as they are of good quality then I will buy and spend the money.

I'm only loyal to what I love. It just so happens that I love a lot of Coach pieces and a lot of Tano pieces. I adore Coach accessories and their affordability but there are also a ton of Coach pieces that do absolutely nothing for me. As far as Tano goes... I love the leather, I love the colors, I love the amazing styles they come out with and I love the price. Tano doesn't make many accessories though so I buy mostly Coach accessories.

That said... I also own purses/accessories by Hayden-Harnett, Kooba, Botkier, Dooney and Bourke, LAMB, Linea Pelle and lots of things that are non-designer. There are many other brands (Chanel, LV, Dior, etc etc) that make beautiful things that I would love to buy but I can't afford them... or I could only afford one piece instead of 3-4 bags by another brand. I'd prefer to have the 3-4 bags because I love variety!

As far as loyalty goes for me, I only stick with brands or designers that are consistently on the mark with their quality, customer service, and workmanship. That's what keeps me as a great customer. I don't just buy a purse because of the fact that I only stick to one designer.

I'm don't really think it's loyalty to one brand that causes me to choose to buy Marc Jacobs bags almost all of the time (I do buy Chloe, too.) I think it's just the fact that I am really drawn to his designs and I really like the quality of the bags for the price point. His designs work with my wardrobe and lifestyle. Although I admire other handbags, a lot of them just aren't my style. MJ and Chloe both work for me and I don't ever second guess my purchases when I stick to those two.

I'm loyal to BV and Ferragamo! I enjoy looking at other designer's bags but when I buy, it always seems to be from my two favorites.

I adore BV and Ferragamo's soft leather and classic but not stuffy designs.
