just an FYI I was told if you dispute a charge with LV that they will not allow you to place online orders in the future. I recently was going to dispute a charge with the denim pochette order that they cancelled and never Told me and didn't credit my card for a few weeks. Has anyone else heard of this?

I was also just informed by CS that the 2020 bags will not have date codes. "Date codes are in the past" I am kind of shocked if they do this. I have also had a bag that I returned (previous pages for story) that did not have a date code. also read on here of others having the same issue. I would hate to have a bag and no date code. just my personal opinion.

I wonder if they will replace date codes with some other type of identification.

There have been articles about LVMH utilizing blockchain technology to begin tracking their goods- from production to post sale. I have also seen posts on n other forums in regards to chips being sewn into leather goods. Word is that this technology will be slowly rolled out across the brand.

My PA Mono I ordered had a date code of 0220. Is this only for actual handbags only or everything in general?

Why would they date some bags and not others... I call BS. CS loves to pull stuff out of their rears. The only solid LV info we get anymore is from the insiders like foxylv, and even our own intel queen @EmmJay. Until I hear it from someone like them, I’m convinced it’s in the same vein of the “speedy nano hasn’t been in production in years” crap they dish out.

Were you able to get a credit back to your card account? I really wouldn’t mind not being able to make online orders because the customer service I’ve been getting has been ridiculous.

In the past 2 weeks, I’ve called 6 times to get some type of answer as to why something that’s available everyday has been stuck in the same status and no one has been able to solve it for me. But thank you for getting back to me!

I’ve spoken to several CAs and my contact in Client Services. They have not received any info from LV corporate about the removal of date codes. In addition, they checked bags and SLGs they received today and they all have date codes from 2020.
