In the last four days I've been to almost all of the shops looking at the bags on sale for "soldes" in Paris. I'm regretting not getting one in the airport when I came in on June 28 because it's super slim pickings. But I did pick up a neo and a regular Le Pliage Large for 120€.
It appears that the opening of the new flagship store in New York has been delayed until 2018.

I had a summer trip to Europe with my family this summer and then went to Paris with my hubby this fall, so I had the opportunity to visit a lot of stores. Longchamp is far more expensive in Canada, so I definitely took advantage of the lower European prices for myself and for gifts.

Longchamp has finally made it to Norway! First and only retailer carrying Longchamp arrived last fall in Trondheim. The selection is ok, but I'm hoping they get a little braver with the colors they choose to carry (mostly brown and black in the leather goods).

Longchamp to Open Fifth Avenue Flagship
The store’s inauguration in May will kick off a series of events planned for the brand’s 70th anniversary.
SHOP TALK: Longchamp is ramping up its retail presence Stateside with a new flagship due to open on New York’s Fifth Avenue on May 3, as the first in a series of events planned to mark the brand’s 70th anniversary. The store will have dedicated spaces for each of the house’s categories.
The French leather goods firm, known for its best-selling Le Pliage bag, already has a store in the city’s SoHo district, and a smaller store on Madison Avenue that will close to make way for the new flagship, according to Longchamp creative director Sophie Delafontaine.
Its first L.A. store is set to open this fall, located in the Beverly Center, she said, bringing the total number of own stores internationally to around 300.
Other events will include a new collaboration out in time for the summer and a party during Paris Fashion Week in September.
Highlights from the house’s Seventies-flavored fall 2018 collection, meanwhile, included long fluid dresses in a horse bridle print and, for outerwear, striped mixed-media furs, Army jackets with shearling collars and fringed jackets. “It’s this idea of an Amazon woman of modern times, a woman who is ultra-feminine but strong,” said Delafontaine.
New bag styles include colored rabbit fur backpacks and pouches dubbed “Give Me a Hug;” the “Amazon” handbag in a range of finishes including quilted leather and printed python, and the saddle-shaped “Alezan” bag.

I’ve been to the Longchamp Outlet at the San Francisco outlet in Livermore and the boutique in Cancun. The latter was inside a mall called “Luxury Avenue.”

I'll try to get more news after I see my contacts. Right now, I know that Madison will close AFTER the Fifth Av store opens, probably in June.
I have been to the botique in Vienna and I never had suxh a nice SA before! He was absolutely perfect!
