my new blue etoile! it's love! i have this new thing for blue...i'm normally attracted to black, grey...etc...but i guess blue is my new black! because if anything i would think i would want the bag in fuschia because i love pink..but for some reason i was drawn to the blue :) :love:

...they are little babies and its our job to take them out into the world and make sure they stay clean and dry....LOL...2 much??? hee hee

nope not too much! :) if it's a rainy day i won't carry either of my ultraviolet bags! hehe...and it was a good thing i put the napkin down because there was *gasp* some alfredo sauce or something from whoever sat there before me! grossss...i would have been so peeved!
when gilt had the sale with the ultraviolets i went crazy with the nude color...i would be way too paranoid to carry that around so i had to put them up for adoption. the blue makes me *less* paranoid...but i'm still super careful (as i'm sure you can tell from the napkin thing) hehe

I apple-guarded that baby to death. Unfortunately, I should have sprayed it again recently because I did notice a little bit of color transfer (I guess from my jeans?) in one corner. But surprisingly the rest of the bag is pretty free from any darkening or stains. I'm hard on my bags too but like you, I loved the color so much, I decided to take my chances.

OMG!!!! I was thinking the same thing because I just sold a bunch on eBay and thats what it felt like. I HOPE they are going to GREAT homes :angel:

SPRAY GUARD Rocks!!!!
...and the Rasta Wallet is doing fine. A little lonely now, but she is good. WAIT think I will pull her out of the archives LOL

Cheryl, and other owners of bags from this line (Corsaire I think):

did you spray it with anything for protection? I did initially, and it's been fine so far, but I also haven't used it much because of bad weather. I don't have experience with this type of lambskin (it's lambskin, right?)

^I haven't treated mine yet. I probably will still treat it by spraying rain & stain protector on it. I recently ordered more since I bought the Ghost Mori satchel and knew that baby needed to be protected.


I've used the bag several times and so far the bag has held up pretty well. There is one small area where it looks like the color has rubbed off a little but it's doesn't detract from the overall beauty of the bag.
