Somewhere on TPF, I read a recommendation to purchase inexpensive CZ studs in the size you want and wear them for a while. That way you might have a better feeling as to what size diamond studs to purchase

This is brilliant! I wish I would have done this. I always wanted large diamond studs. Went from 1, 2, 3 to 8 tcw and boy do I regret it. Soo heavy that I never wear them. I am back to my 2 carats (1 ct each).

what a pity can you sell them and use the money for something you'd enjoy more? or reset the diamonds into something else?
