I got this yesterday. At first I was unsure because I bought it at a kind of hole in the wall closeout store that sells overstocks, past season etc, mostly clothing and nothing really high end. A lot of Free People etc. But it FELT really nice, and the orig, tag said it was $795!!!!!!!! Catherine Malandrino, and a beautiful color. So I pulled out my phone but her website only had much less expensive bags. Hmmmm. The plot thickens. So I carried it around a bit, kept touching it, smelled it, looked for labels inside, and finally decided yes it's leather and at worst, I got a nice bag for not a lot. Best case, I got a deal!
Came home, and dug some more online. Found out she sold to Tahari and us now suing for among other things, devaluation of her brand. Made sense since I thought she was high end. Anyway, if you made it through this, I paid $50 for the bag. Also found NR had it at one time...so it's legit and feels like my friends Chanel! Also found a label inside at home that says 100% lambskin.
