The only bag style I don't tend to gravitate towards is the Hobo. I love satchels the most but also enjoy totes. Cross bodies are great for traveling or a night out. Love structured and slouchy! I love almost all bags :)

Looking at my collection I mainly have three shapes. Duffle style bags (Speedy 40 Bandouliere, Keepall 50 Bandouliere), messenger bags (Abbesses) and briefcases (Porte Document Voyage, Porte Document Voyage PM - in the works and Laguito PM - in the works). Then I have a few outliers such as a bucket bag (Noe), a tall narrow boxy open tote style (Sac Plat) and finally a floppy casual open tote style (Saint Laurent men's croc embossed tote - in the works).

I think for me there is The Perfect Bag for a certain place and occasion such as woc, crossbody, top handle, clutch, I just love them all. The only bag I can't do anymore is backpack.

I prefer totes and shoulder bags that can turn into crossbody bags. Pockets is also important for me. I tend to choose bags with more pockets. I don't like bags with no top zip. Top zip is very important for me.

I love slouchy shoulder bags! Always have!

But lately I am carrying top handle bags more often due to shoulder issues. It has been an adjustment. I have some pretty top handle bags, so that helps.

I have a few crossbody bags, but I rarely use those. Not sure why.

I'm pretty much the same...love a slouchy bag, and don't like structured bags at all. Mostly because slouchy bags don't sit well against the body, and given that I only carry shoulder bags, they need to seamlessly lay against my body.
Can't do top handles! Not practical for my life, because I need to be hands-free.

I also own a few cross-body bags, but I don't wear them because I personally can't stand how the strap sits in between my boobs and cuts my whole outfit in half! lol
