Arrived today and I couldn’t be happier! Just a gorgeous 40 year old bag! Very happy about it. 🥰
Doesn’t come with a should strap, I might order one but any of you have done it and will it be very noticeable the difference in the leather between the bag and the strap? I will send it to the spa and check with them as well.

I didn't order straps for my single D ring vintage Kellys, but this being black Box, matching the leather should not be a problem at all. Congrats!
Ah right is a single ring, is my first one like that. Thanks for responding.
I was told by Hermes spa that they advise to change single ring to double ring when you order a strap. It’ll add up to the cost but it prevent hardware to be robbed against the handle and damage it. It’s a gorgeous bag.

yeah I’ll take it to the spa and see what they suggest be done. I also love it how it is, the shoulder strap is handy though

My 1999 Kelly came with a strap though it has no D ring (I gather the D ring for the strap was added in 2003 or 2004). I sent it to the spa and they did not suggest a D ring. Somehow Kelly handles survived fifty odd years without a dedicated D ring for the strap.Thanks so much
I have purchased another H strap that I use with it too.
I bought a Kelly pocket strap in rouge h in swift and epsom for my 45 year old Kelly. You can see a slight difference in color.
Yours being black you shouldn’t see a noticeable difference
