Curious how much you paid for each. Would you mind letting us know?I was in Tokyo back in October, though I sadly had to cut my trip short by a week due to illness 😩 In all of my trips there, this was the first time I was able to legitimately bag shop (yay, getting older!). I visited quite a few resale/vintage/used shops and the Hermes boutiques. Due to not having a local shop at home, and a strong disinterest in playing the game, I have bought all of my bags secondhand. In this case, the yen vs dollar exchange is pretty incredible right now. While I did not nab my bags in person due to my shortened time there, my friend (who runs a full-time shopping service!) was able to purchase the bags I tried on in person off the webshops for me and sent them my way. And the conversion rate saved me an absolutely insane amount of money. Tax-free in Paris has nothing on buying from Japan right now. I couldn't be happier with my bags!
If you love vintage bags that have been impeccably maintained, I strongly recommend searching for your bags in Japan or on Japanese webshops/auction sites using translated search terms. You really can't beat the exchange rate right now, and the bags tend to be better maintained than vintage bags purchased in the USA (especially considering cost vs. condition). You'll have to go off the beaten path (so, not the common resale shops that are easy to find), but it's worth the hunt.
Haute a Courroies 32cm in Vache Natural with gold hardware - this bag was so well loved and cared for; it is so beautiful! I have already begun conditioning/performing maintenance using @docride recommended products for this leather. Someone had already been treating it thankfully, as it is largely water-resistant already!
Kelly 35cm in Gold Veau Gulliver with gold hardware - in absolutely beautiful condition, with only the expected scratches for this leather, some light corner color wear, and a small area of the handle I want to have Hermes address. This will be the first bag I ever spa, once I can get to the closest city with an Hermes.

I’ve never seen it but I agree with love at first sight! May I ask how much it is and is it for the new season? When I saw this timeless piece I knew I had to have it. The craftsmanship is magnificent...definitely love at 1st sight.

Wow! Would you mind sharing which stores you shopped at? I’m in Tokyo now and would love to visit!I don't mind, the HAC was $5,400 and the Kelly was $3,700

Gorgeous...was this purchase in the US?
Wow! Two stunning bags...particularly enamored of the sac manille in vibrato! Congrats and enjoy!Vintage and under the radar may not be everyone’s cup of tea but it is where I get my kick these days. Also, not quite my latest purchase since they were sent directly to the amazing @docride for some spa love for a couple of weeks.
Presenting olive vibrato Sac Manille ll (circa 2000) and much younger combi relax Bolide 45 (circa 2018).
I love vibrato so am particularly thrilled about the Sac Manille, and it is surprisingly roomy!
