Went into Harrods today with the sole intention of window shopping and just whiling away some time before dinner.

I tried my luck with the shoe department to see if they had any Genius or Chypre sandals in my size.

Lo and behold they had a pair of Fauve Genius and Natural Chypres, the former in 42 and the latter in 43.

Though I liked both, I fell in love with the Genius, and felt I could justify them as a different pair to the Chypre sandals that I already own.

I love your Chypres in green (don't recall which green) but may like this Genius model even more! While you may be inclined to reprimand your absent self-control, I'd applaud...they're great looking shoes!

Haha thank you very much. My Chypres are apparently labelled as Bleu Celeste, which was really confusing as I always thought that was a sky blue shade.



If anything, I would have thought they’d be Bleu Emeraude. Oh well, in any case, they go well with my B35! Lol!
