Was invited to the Paris sale last Thursday.
I'm glad I found a pair of Bilbao flats, and 3 silks.
I'm rather into CSGMs, but there were only a few and in red colorways.
So I got tempted by 3 squares I had in the back of my mind, as you see I'm not fond of equestrian or nautical themes.
These are my first H silks.
- a 90 cm Space Derby
- my grail the 140 cm Pégase Pop
- a 90 cm double face Wow
I'm especially delighted by the Pégase Pop, which I regretted no to buy at the sale last summer.
I almost got one in red this time (bad idea, but I wanted it so much), and just found a lonely fuchsia one right before entering the payzone ! It was meant for me !
And as I wore the Wow on Friday I got complimented on the colorway and helped knotting it by a colleague.
I was relieved as DH didn't like it.
Sorry to explain all this stuff, but I'm not used to wearing silks, so it was quite risky to buy 3 at a time.

Oh my! What a fabulous collection you’ve amassed at the Ban Island Shoe Salon!! Love them all. It appears they are fully stocked with a myriad of styles and appropriate sizes. Perhaps I should visit!

Yay! How exciting to find a grail - pegasus pop is a gorgeous pattern and I’m a sucker for anything fuschia. We are twins on space derby, that lovely and different piece goes with all my bags no matter the color. And the Wow is great too. What a great sale experience it seems you had, along with your flats, and believe me it gets easier. And easier. And easier. To buy and wear silks and shawls over time. One day you might wake up and look in your space and find it’s filled with flat H boxes and mountains of silk
Seriously, congratulations on your first scarves. glad a colleague helped - I watched MaiTai (a lovely tpfr that used to post here a lot) on her website tie scarves in a bunch of ways and it gets easier. She also has a scarf tying app. Enjoy!!
A small H purchase of Les leopards bandana twillys recently, from an extremely lovely and helpful woman. I missed these little cuties and have wanted a pure black and white set of twillys from H. It has seemed hard to find black and white only H twillys, and sometimes with my colorful bags I like a bit of black and white. Happy weekend everyone!
