Funny about the twinning comment. I always joke with my DH about wearing matching outfits. (Usually get a flat no.) It’s apparently a thing in Asia - “couples” outfits. At least in Asian dramas lol!

RTW and DH ordered a shirt (will post details of the latter in Guys and their Hermes thread
This is a terrible pic of the dress (IRL it‘s the right size and isn’t pulling) and a relatively great price 2400USD
also comes in black. I passed on the cargo pants (2800USD) bc DH has two pairs of cargos from this seaosn, and I didn’t want to be twins. But, I have already texted my SA that I want them as they will be great cost per wear.
(also a terrible pic as everything is pulling)

also, I have to take back everything mean I said about mens bespoke. They start at 1100, but SA estimates 1600USD, bc DH asked for some other details. (I am assuming Dh’s first test shirt will be perfect upon arrival in 5 months time; two months to complete the Muslin pattern). And, my mean comment about the plastic wrapped cookie. The horse head is a lot better than the original flat cookie.

if there isn’t a belt is it possible that you are thinking of the short belted dress, someone dubbed the stiff dress, that @Bdbunny and others purchased?

@ekbright , i don’t know what sizes are available. My SA just pulled these two things he thought I’d like while DH was trying his pants lol. After I bought it, a two friends messaged me. One said she bought hers at Madison the day before. Another said it comes in black and MP hasn’t yet gotten it in, so perhaps more sizes are still trickling in? I think it’s also possible that Madison can request a transfer of this item, so it perhaps it’s not super new (I’ve just never seen it lol)

I did a lot of damage today lol. Went to pick up my b’day offer the B25 gold on gold, got an offer for the black mini Evelyne too. My most surprise was the bambou Calvi duo that’s going to be matching with my so green Picotin 18.

I just got my first MTM silk scarf shirt and am thrilled with how it turned out. You need to buy five 90cm silk scarves and then add in the cost of making the shirt. It’s done out of the men’s MTM department and they have a look book that shows which scarves in which color ways have been pre-approved by Paris HQ. The process should take about 6 months.
