I have multiple pairs and they all look like that. I can't say if it's normal wear for 5 uses, but it's normal wear. They all end up like that sooner or later. Doesn't bother me one bit.My recent purchase were the Oran sandals. I wore them maybe 5 times so far and last weekend I noticed that the leather started to peel on both right and left shoe (picture attached below)! I went to the store today and they told me it is a "normal wear". Is it really 'normal' after wearing them 5 times only though?? Does anyone have a similar experience? I am soooo disappointed, I was already thinking of buying another color but now I really don't think I will be spending this much on shoes of this qualityView attachment 5757282

As its inside the shoe on the heel area tbh it wouldn't bother me at all.
It could even be caused by some rough skin on the outside of your heel rubbing at the leather.
I don't actually own a pair of Oran so I couldn't tell you if its 'normal' wear and tear or not but I just speak from wether I would PERSONALLY be bothered by this or consider it sub-standard.

Was trying to picture wearing the sandals while driving but no way the top part would be touching the car floor mats. And not on both sandals.My recent purchase were the Oran sandals. Is it possible the sandals flipped when putting them on and you used your feet to turn them over on a rough surface like the garage floor? Maybe the heels of your feet are sandpaper rough?
It should not scuff like that after 5 wears. No way.

ETA: my Birkenstocks and chanel sandals do show this kind of wear almost immediately, so I don’t think it’s totally uncommon

In a rather strange turn of events, my DH and my SA are in complete agreement about my scarf collection: I don’t need to add any more scarves to it! However even my SA acknowledged that this 140 was special and worthy of an exception

Thanks! That is a Verrou en chaine. I didn’t even think of that combo lol! I can however confirm it works with étoupe and ébène so far. I’d post a mod shot but there’s no need because yours is so great
Recent purchase is the pink oran sandals finally got the color that matches my Mini Kelly and the calvi card holder in rose extreme.
