My HG was a Coach Laser Cut Op Art Sophia... I've always wanted a Sophia ever since I saw the Gathered style at nordstrom, then everyone wore it and I decided it wasn't for me anymore. Then I saw the Laser Cut version in the Window Display at Coach and thought it was so gorgeous. And when I finally did see it up close and personal, I couldn't stop thinking about it. The $500 price tag was a bit steep so it took me awhile to think about it and scourge up the funds.. Seeing it again at Macy's I knew I needed her... it was so beautiful. What I loved about it is there is no nameplate on the bag so I won't need to worry about it chipping later from use. It's just.. so pretty. This bag became my HG and literally my most perfect bag. Ever since I had the courage to buy it full price, I decided I won't need another spring/summer bag anymore. She's perfect. :hbeat:

ULTIMATE Holy Grail? That wouldn't be something I've afforded (e.g. HAVE) so far, even though my favorite bag is my most recent Coach. Loved it way more than even Chloés (and I once LOVED the Paddington), originally, and yes! I have gone since I bought it (Feb.) without a new purse! (Shoes: a different story, but I went a while without those, too!)

My ultimate also hasn't so far been something entirely original. Guess what? Birkin (or maybe a Kelly is a tad more me), and I'm not even sure it suits me and especially not my lifestyle. (Feels like a CEO or fashion magazine work bag to me, I WISH! Haha.)

My followup is a Chanel black quilted flap, or something. Or maybe a red tote.

These are clearly more financial goals than entirely personal taste, but I do love the way they look.

I do, though, have regular holy grails. Yes, when I got the Coach, it felt like A HG, but I only yearned for her for a week, and I think even a temporary UHG must be something beyond this.

For years I've wanted a Louis in Damier Azur but just wasn't sure what or when ... I decided this week:

I'm pretty sure my mum and honey will help me get it for my HUGE 30th birthday!!! (Although it's cutting it close to a bad financial time for us as we are applying for a new apartment soon after and they frown upon credit. Still, he won't need to contribute much.)

Seems affordable to me for Lanvin. I've wanted one for perhaps a year, not sure. I know the H&M dealio didn't work in my favor with this style (unless they had surprise items in store, sigh, the closest store debuted then still too far away). I'd rather have the real, awesome leather, deal anyway. :yes:

This is the bag I'm now using as motivation in my "career" haha. It'd be great to snag a good job and then get the purse! :smile1:

Giving me ideas too, bad, I get plenty on TPF. That Treesja with ruffles, OMG, love it!!! My HG changes every week, it's crazy, some I have gotten, then it starts up again, now I have to go look for that Treesja

My black Boyy Slash. It's not perfect for all occasions, as it's too small to work as a work bag for me, but the minute I opened the package I was in awe. Such beautiful leather and gorgeous gunmetal hardware. I *LOVED* it. So of the bags I have, I'd say it is my personal Holy Grail. I'd like to have a brick Slash though.. and of course, there are bags I can't afford that I lust after, but that's another issue.

oooooh i like that boyy slash! i just looked it up and i see why you're so in love with it! love the hardware, much more discreet than the typical shiny stuff. thats awesome! dangit...
