My choices are in order of preference:

1. Cartier
2. Tiffany
3. VCA

I have and love pieces from all three but Cartier is my favourite.

I also love some Bvlgari designs such as the Serpenti bracelet  but sadly it is way out of my price range.

I don’t know anything about Harry Winston or Graff and am not attracted to Chopard designs.

Love these 3 brands too! What do you think of Chaumet?

1. Bulgari
2. Chopard
3. VCA

all for design wise. But I wouldn’t buy or want engagement rings from any brands. I rather go with independent jeweler.
What pieces do you like from Chopard? I like their sunglasses

1. Verdura
2. Van Cleef
3. Robert Procop and Bayco

Others I like: Jean Mahie and Temple St. Clair.

ETA: Verdura is like an exclusive club. Not many people know about it. Women who wear it know it. And since the designs are bold, it takes some confidence to wear.

I agree. I didn't know this brand existed until I joined this forum. I love looking at their jewelry. There isn't a single piece that isn't beautiful, in my opinion. I'm sad that I don't think it would suit me though. I have very thin wrists, thin and long fingers, and a thin neck. I've always worn pendants on chains, thin stacking rings, or dainty chain bracelets because they look well-balanced on me. I doubt I'd be able to pull off one of those glamorous cuffs with confidence, but my gosh they are lovely to look at!

Van Cleef is my favorite of the ones on the list, and I love Temple St. Clair, too. There might be a few things I'd admire from all those brands. However, if I were limited to only one, it would definitely be VCA!

For engagement rings, Victor Canera. His rings are handforged, not just hand assembled and finished. His pave work is excellent. He made the setting in my avatar picture (I reset from a solitaire). Top notch work. He does carry some very nice diamonds and will discount the setting, I believe, if you buy a stone from him.

He made my ring, love him!

You might be surprised . . . I'm petite. I too have thin wrists and a thin neck. While sizing is an issue (much of my jewelry needs to be altered, just like clothing), I'm finding the Verdura is fabulous. On me, small and dainty looks inconspicuous.

I think it's a question of taste and style rather than whether you can or can't . . .

BVLGARI for craftsmanship, design and better value than VCA or Cartier. Wven celebrities wear these pieces during awards night.
VCA and Cartier are overprized— especially VCA.—- paying for more precious stones than gold or diamonds.
Tiffany is too mainstream.

I love evrything! Can't wait to see everyone's latest purchases on the Cartier, Tiffany, VCA, Bvlgari, etc. threads. I'm afraid to start buying VCA but enjoy looking at all the goodies! I have a Tiffany "Love Knots" diamond collar, Peretti cuff and other small stuff. I have a diamond Cartier Roadster watch...other than that, not many popular brands. I love Michael Bondanza and have several pieces. I had and sold (for a slight profit) a 3ct Steven Kretchmer tension setting e-ring. I also have a couple of Mark Patterson pieces. I had ceylon sapphire and diamond icicle earrings made by Greg Stewart/HW but sold. Luckily, I had a wonderful jeweler who made jewelry for me. He was a diamond broker and sourced diamonds from all over the world. He made my diamond studs, bangles and TB/TN and I could pick the stones. Quite an education as well. Now I buy what I love and will wear!
