Graff first, then vca & harry winston from branded choices.
However i have jewelry from local places or companies like Effy that i love too ; and for sure the above companies have pieces i dislike. So i guess im Amelia bedilia- a little of each

I have found a few really good jewelers (big names and family-owned) over the years. I learned that a talented jeweler can make anything happen. I get what I want without paying for the big name, and a skilled person gets the sale. There's a lot of nuance here that I'm omitting, but this broadly addresses why my vote is for custom over anything from the designers listed above.

That is amazing to find a jeweler like that! Trustworthy & talented is a gift!
Unfortunately where i live, i don't even have a trustworthy place to drop off things for minor repairs (like a clasp or broken earring post). It's very frustrating.

Of these, I like Graff and Bvlgari the best. I do like the Art Deco element of the Cartier panther but I actually can’t commit to it over all others.

A big addition for me would be the traditional British houses like Asprey and Gerrard and the French house Chaumet

OP are you asking our fave engagement ring company or in general?

I don’t prefer brands for engagement rings, I prefer more independent skilled jewelers like Victor Canera and Leon Mege.
