Michael Kors Hamilton. It fits a lot of junk and is pretty but not too pretty that I'd cry if it gets dirty or damaged.

Fossil messenger/crossbody bags with lots of pockets. I'm a subway commuter and need quick access for passes and keys, and hands free for when I don't get a seat. They're leather, not too expensive as I typically buy them on sale or at Winners so I won't cry if it gets dirty or caught on something as it will happen during rush hour. Weekends are for my nicer bags and I bring my Coach and Botkier bags out to play

It depends on the weather....When it rains....my Longchamp Le Pliage , Hervé Chapelier or Mandarina Duck canvas totes....
When the weather is dry, I rotate all my bags....Thanks to my Tintamar purse organizer....
