I'm between my black Furla satchel which is like this but in Furla smooth leather and obviously, black!
And my new Cole Haan pewter village bucket tote
And the Coach purse my husband bought for me yesterday for my birthday

The Furla is my work purse, the Cole Haan is for my general weekend shopping etc, but the Coach will probably get used a lot on the weekends too as I suspect my husband prefers this little one to all my usual supersized bags! The Cole Haan is the one I really lusted after for ages and finally snapped up when I spotted it on the Bloomingdales site recently (lucky because it's sold out now). It was also my most expensive purse yet.
But I've got my eye on some M by MJs and maybe even a Botkier if they ever go on sale to a price I can be comfortable with. Still got the HH Ibiza in the back of my mind too...

It depends. I have a fancy category and more laid back category of favorites.
For laid back everyday for college I love my tano boogie bucket in wine and my new goldie shocks in bronze for fall. So slouchy and fits folders and notebooks and I don't have to worry so much about it getting dirty. I also like my herve chapelier in purple for heavier book days. I have a bonnie hobo international on the way too for another laid back bag.
For fancier days out I like my mono LV speedy 25 and my black gryson lexi? I forgot the name of my gryson lol but I love the suede interior and just the classic clean lines and it matches everything. For days out I prefer smaller style bags. So hard narrowing favorites down though because I use different bags for different reasons.

The pewter is a little more silvery than gunmetal - I would have preferred gunmetal but it didn't come in that. I think the pewter is pretty hard to find these days, I think I snapped the last one up at Bloomingdales. Now I have to try and find some matching accessories for it!
the cole haan village unit collection comes in gunmetal (which is like a pewter color) at work we have it in clutches and also in hobos and triple zip satchels. they have been selling like hotcakes since they were in the fall 07 national ad campaigns. its a soft pebble grain leather too, great price point for a great trend that is really becoming the new neutral instead of using black!
tonij2000, no, I sold my Havana Hobo, after all that. I just didn't care for the shape and how it looked on me. Are you still loving yours?
The one HH bag I have left is my Dominique Hobo, not the Satchel. It was on sale during one of their earlier sales and I think I got the last one since I have not seen it back on their site (although I haven't looked in a long time). I love this bag. It's one of the rare bags that I have goten quite a few compliments on. My friend's nanny actually tried to get me to sell her the bag!
When I ordered the bag, they sent me the Satchel by accident. I didn't like the Satchel at all, the shape was too big. Thankfully, they did send me the Hobo.
