Fake LVs are definitely everywhere these days in NY. On a flight from the Dominican Republic to NY I saw the ugliest fake Fendi Spy. It looked really cheap. I don't understand these girls. I'd rather spend that money on a well-made non-designer bag then waste it on a cheap fake designer bag.
I was out today shopping and saw more LVs. I sometimes wonder if these people have any idea how fake their fake is? For example, does someone carrying a fake multicolore papillon have any idea that papillon didn't come in multicolore (if memory serves)? I totally agree with Kat's comment-I would much rather purchase a well made non-designer than a fake!
LV hands down is the winner, but I've also seen quite a few fake B-bags, both in South Florida and in DC. I'm surprised none else has mentioned those. I've also seen a few fake Fendi Spys and a couple of fake Gucci horsebits, once in Barneys.
I definitely see the fake Louis Vuittons the most. The Coach bags are usually real because they're less expensive, and I think I've seen fake Guccis too. Mostly LV though.
WiIthout a doubt, Balenciaga bags. They look so real and are so common, it's useless buying a real one anymore. No one will bat an eyelid. Even worse, the presumption is that yours is fake anyway.
Someone I work with sells fake Gucci, Prada and Coach out of his trunk in the parking lot where I work. They all buy them and wear them too! He asked me once, and I said " no. I don't think so!"
