Hi! I’ve been thinking about adding a Bolide to my collection for a while, and today I came across this very affordable vintage find that’s basically a dupe, designed by Ettore Bugatti.

If you’re familiar with the history of the Bolide, you’ll know it was originally named the “Bugatti” before Hermès changed the name in the ’90s due to copyright concerns 🙂

This particular bag is from the 90s, made in Italy, and even has a serial number. I thought it was a great way to try out the style before eventually committing to a bigger purchase 😃

Current season Versace Tag Hobo and matching tag small zip wallet. I bought it direct from the Versace.com website and it was a gift to myself for a project I had worked on icception to finish so thought I needed to spoil myself. (Zoom in on the note card I wrote to myself LOL).
Just arrived today earlier and took it for its first outing immediately! It hols a surprising amount for the size. It's just shy of a medium classic flap in width but more than double the space front to back and it's not rigid so it can fit a lot.
Comes with a cute medusa hang tag (hence the name) the leather is super buttery but it's calf I believe so not as delicate as lamb.

I lied LOL I checked it's actually Nappa. But its a sturdier nappa than is used on the quilted nappa Versace bags I have. I couldn't edit my post above.

I got 2 huge canvas strawberry printed tote bags, then I received this red one as a gift for Mom's day on top of another large tote bag I got. So I think I got about 5 large tote bags recently. I don't know what's happening. I haven't wanted a big tote bag for over a decade, but I accumulated 5 in a very short time!
Here's a stock photo as I am too lazy rn to take a photo. Even though it is a gift, I'm thinking whether I should keep it or not. 2025_115900_Chrome.webp
