Thank you. Yes I am turning 50! So I definitely wanted something special/symbolic. The first really expensive/luxury designer bag I bought myself was a limited edition Louis Vuitton for my 40th bday. I'm glad you don't think the damage detracts too much. At first I figured it must have happened during shipping, which I couldn't figure out for the life of me since it was in the original box inside dhl cardboard box. But I went back to look at the photo seller had sent to me when I inquired about the condition and simply glazed over my query about any visible imperfections in favor of highlighting that it was nwt; dustbag, box etc. Here are the photos she sent me. I thought nothing of it at the time but now notice how she cleverly hid the damage. If you look closely at the photo where it's covered by the shoulder strap, you can see the indent is there just mostly covered. So that answers my question about whether it was existing and not disclosed or somehow happened during transit. At least I can stop racking my brain trying to figure that out!

Congratulations on your 50th birthday :flowers: hope you have a lovely day.

Your bag is beautiful and one of a kind. I have several Fendi bags and they’re such fantastic quality. I don’t mind marks and such like on mine, in fact I like to see a beautiful bag being worn and used. I have box leather and lamb leather that I have scuffed within days of using it and I don’t mind at all.

What I would care about is a duplicitous seller. She didn’t just not mention it, she went to great lengths to hide it and this is unacceptable. If it was me I wouldn’t let her get away with it, a definite reduction in price would be the least she could offer.

My bday splurge has arrived and I am not waiting 3 more weeks until actual bday to use! This was purchased second hand but new with tags, box, receipt, etc. Unfortunately, it's slightly damaged (visible indent in leather on front of bag), which was not mentioned and cleverly hidden in photos seller shared with me, but I'm really trying to not let the imperfection bother me bc bag is still pretty and while I notice it right away, hopefully others won't and it doesn't detract too much to overall look. A pleasant surprise was that the interior is silk. This bag came in both leather and silk versions. I obviously opted for the leather but the silk interior is so pretty and gives a little taste of both!

Thank you so much! I just sent seller a message inquiring and she feigned igonorance and sent me copy of last photo she had sent me. I was able to them point out the damage existed if you soon in and look closely and she agreed and apologized but didn't offer any sheet of refund or credit. I also didn't ask for one but told get i would take to the store to see what they suggest and if any way to fix (though honestly i would be more concerned about potentially damaging further). She was very lovely to deal with and fair throughout the process. Not sure what a reasonable request for some sort of credit would even be?

Actually a report or finding from the store is a good idea and a great starting point to negotiate if this is what you would like to do. You could also message Fendi head office directly with some photos and ask their advice. Of course don’t mention you purchased pre loved or they won’t assist. At least you might have something in writing too.

Thanks for the advice. Was thinking of taking to Tiffany store as there's one close by. Unfortunstely, there is no Fendi store near me. There's one in a Saks about 45 minutes away, the closest store is over an hour away. But maybe I can call or email to start.

A beautiful bag indeed and indent is nothing !

I don't have pictures of it right now, but my most recent purchase was the Lady Dior Pouch in black lambskin. I got to use it for the first time yesterday for a trip into the city to go see a show, and it was the perfect size for my essentials.
I’m considering this bag in the diamond motif do you still love it ?

Thank you, I'm really trying to not let it bother me and just enjoy how soft, supple and smooth the leather is but it definitely takes very little for marks like this which is upsetting (especially given the price). I have gone out of my way to baby this the few times i have briefly used it and there are a few more small nicks/ indents. I can't figure out how they even got there bc totally pampered bag. But still going to use and enjoy and hopefully get over it. I still plan to take to store to see what they say when I have time.

Versace mini bucket bag, and matching zip around wallet! Both brand new with tags ( bought through Vestaire Collective at a wonderful price!) The mini bucket seems small but it holds more than you'd think. I can fit more in there than in my chanel medium flap.
I took the original crossbody strap off and replaced with a chanel-type one I got off etsy with quick release lobster clips on the ends. The leather in the etsy strap is genuine nappa. I highly recommend that seller as she hand makes awesome straps!

Wore today with my Versace bracelet.

Sorry pic is weirdly faded. The lighting is wierd today (overcast).
