It's a collaboration with the artist Yayoi Kusama, one of my favorites. Prior to this collab I didn't really pay attention to Louis Vuitton but totally fell for a few pieces in this collection.

That purple suede bag is what got me looking at Khaite. But just couldn't do suede... And, let's be honest, I need another purple bag about as much as I need another hole in my head.
P.S. That doesn't mean I won't be getting another purple bag, just that I won't need it, and that it won't be suede.
Just wondering if there's a particular reason why you don't do suede (apart from aesthetics, "different strokes for different folks", etc.)?? I actually love suede in both handbags and even in heels and sneakers.

I've read it can be a pain to maintain, and is prone to color transfer. Is that not the case?
Yes, I've heard that those are sometimes issues that can arise with suede but I try to keep what I have rotated with my other bags and am careful about trying to avoid potential colour transfer with what I'm wearing when I wear suede handbags and so far I've been lucky I guess.
