The Polene is very cute!

Regarding a brown bag, I've been wanting a squishy, medium sized lightweight brown bag.
So I ordered this Lauren Graci bag in brown. It's granny chic I suppose, but it's in a nappa lamb leather, and and it looks very scrumptious! I can't wait to receive it. View attachment 5714934View attachment 5714935

I received my brown Graci bag.
It's super scrumptious and I really like the chocolate dark brown.

I like this a lot! The leather looks nice and smooshy and I bet the handle is very comfortable.

I don’t have a photo yet, as I’ve only just ordered it, but my newest bag is…
A 1950’s Hermes Noir shiny Porusus crocodile Boutonnière bag.

It belonged to a dancer who lived in Paris-I started life as a ballerina and used to live in Paris, so the bag is made for me!

It’s an early birthday present to myself, but I’ll put any birthday money towards it as my money is really for vets bills this year..but I couldn’t leave it..

Im still having my day out after my birthday when I’ll buy another bag, so 2 new bags this year..-when the new bag arrives I’ll post pictures!

You must do a reveal and accompanying story in the H Forum for us!

Thank you.
The leather is like butter, and the handle is sooo comfy. I'll most likely use this handle with my LV Clapton backpack in DE brown, cuz it's a perfect match in color, and it gives just enough length for a comfy hand carry.
And I'll be using a brown straps from a LV bag as a crossbody strap with this bag, since it's a perfect match as well. I also tried a mono strap, and it's also a perfect match!
Here's a picture with the mono strap, and I added a banana, because I can. :biggrin:2023_074810.jpg

What a beautiful bag! I love the retro styling, very chic and elegant. Wear it in good health.

The banana is perfect, it gives it a Curious George vibe…

Update on my new H bag..
I may have to cancel the order atm..
My Siamese Tammy(named after the ballerina Tamara Kasarvina, her pedigree name), has renal amyloidosis at only 4, which is incurable.
She’s going downhill-keeps vomiting, and yesterday I found blood on my bed where she’d been.
Her insurance only covers the first thousand, she’s way above that already..I’ve booked a vet appointment next week..
She ran up thousands of pounds of vets bills last year-it’s not a good time for me to buy the bag-unless the vet thinks that she’s just declining slowly rather than just about to run up another huge bill.
Hopefully my bag will wait for me-it seems meant to be, but timing is everything , and I wouldn’t let Tammy suffer for the sake of a bag..

So sorry to hear that. I hope she gets better soon. It’s so difficult to watch a pet be ill.

Thank you so much, but sadly there’s no cure..just a poor prognosis -she was diagnosed in August last year and put on a drip twice as an inpatient , unable to eat or drink.Until now she’s railed, but seems to be losing weight, her prescription food costs more than the others food costs put together, she had an extra large tray to herself and sleeps in my bed, but there is no treatment for her condition. My previous Siamese/Orientals have lived to 17/18 so this is heartbreaking…but she’s living on borrowed time. The fact that my Mum is very ill with dementia at the same time(being cared for by my Dad) makes this a particularly hard year..
I will buy a couple of new bags this year, but H may have to wait until next year.
I’m going to my parents at the weekend-my Mum still loves her bags..I’m giving her my leopard mini tote bag, which I’ve bought a toy cuddly leopard which fits perfectly inside for her.
Hopefully next year will bring kittens but sadly it can’t bring a new Mum..
