It sounds like the alternating necklace would be a choice for you, especially if you gravitate to wearing monochromatic basics. I'd avoid wearing stripes with it, or anything too busy, but it would look stunning with solids. It would dress up basics and add an interesting touch to an otherwise subdued look, and it would look amazing with any LBD.You make really valid points, thanks for your input. I am currently working on refining my personal style. But I wear a lot of navy monochromatic clothing, sometimes grey. I gravitate towards Scandinavian style just not quite as edgy as it can be at times. I try to add an interesting detail via necklaces or scarves. Stripes are also frequently used but obviously a lot of solids as well. From a necklace perspective i feel like I have a lot of areas covered except this style and maybe a layered diamond piece. I have 2 Tiffany t necklaces when I want a more delicate look, a vca vintage Alhambra pendant for everyday ease, a vca magic 16 necklace that I usually wear either double looped or triple looped but it can be worn long, a vca diamond pave long pendant that I usually wear double looped vs long and I am very comfortable wearing it with jeans-tee-sweater for a bit of contrast and then lastly I have a diamond solitaire pendant. I am strictly a white gold and platinum gal, no variation there. So I am leaning towards the Victoria alternating as I think that it can add interesting detail as well as uniqueness and feel as though the line style is a staple and will always be around should I want to add it to my collection later. Given all that, do you still gravitate towards the alternating Victoria as well?
I know I'm biased, as I love this piece, but if I saw someone wearing the alternating necklace I wouldn't be able to take my eyes off of it.
