It's beautiful, congrats!! Would love to see a modeling pic when you get it. I have a half carat (same band) which I love because it's sentimental but it always looked a bit small on my hand so I'm debating whether to get a larger one pre-owned. I'm planning to stick with the plain band because it's so comfortable - the little diamonds look great but might be uncomfortable for everyday wear. I think you picked the perfect ring!
Thank you kindly. I remember trying the Lucida on 10+ years ago and I loved it then. Will be sure to post photos when it arrives. What size are you thinking of getting?

Tried these two Victoria necklaces on last night. Since I am so basic (happy that I am) with my other diamond jewelry studs, solitaire etc with the exception of my vca magic diamond pave pendant I am leaning towards the flower Victoria vs the basic line necklace. But it’s a big purchase to me, so what do you think.? @Rami00 I would really love your opinion as you seem to have had quite a bit of experience with tiffany. Also considering a 17ct (not Tiffany] graduated necklace. Any advice is appreciated.IMG_1470.jpgIMG_1469.jpgIMG_1435.jpg

I am basic too, just few pieces in my collection :P:biggrin:
I love Victoria line! Is this piece reserved for special occasions? If yes, I would pick the alternating diamonds/the first one. If not, I would go with the graduated necklace. I tried on the 10 ctw couple of years ago and have it on my wishlist, way down somewhere! For some reason, I could see myself wear it with plain tee - I know, go figure :giggle: However, I am planning to get the alternating piece in a bracelet version as I see more use of it for my lifestyle.
Which piece are you loving more?

Thank you for advice! I am leaning towards the flower Victoria as it lays nicely and doesn’t turn, I feel as though it’s a classic but with interesting detail. However I plan to have this piece for my lifetime so I am concerned about longevity and if I will get ‘tired’ of it, vs going with my usual timeless choices. I do plan on trying to wear with tees and shirts to try and get more cost per wear from the necklace as well as add some pizzazz to my wardrobe. You make a good point about going more traditional for the necklace and then add the interesting detail on a bracelet or earrings, like you have done. Hmmm. Again, thanks for taking the time to offer your thoughts.

Something around a carat, I need to figure out what looks good on my size 4.75-5 finger. I tried on a 1.4 carat rectangular one at my Tiffany store because it was the smallest they had left and it looked too chunky on my hand. I think the cut looks better when a little smaller and also when they don't cut the corners off too much so it doesn't start looking like an octagon instead of a square. I love how the cut corners incorporate the prongs into the shape of the ring though instead of sticking out with a princess cut.

Agree about the princess and Lucida. I have a finger size of 4 so you'll be able to see what a 1ct looks like. I think Ill get it sized to 4.25 because of the thick band.

Go for the first one. That is my dream necklace and would look lovely with my Victoria earirngs, how I wish I could get that. The first one is simply stunning and like you've said, you can piar it with a simple shirt or t shirt. A solid color summer dress would look lovely too. It's a versatile piece, you can wear it so many ways and a work of art.

Thank you, your comments really help me, it’s such a big purchase for me that I want to be sure.

Maybe because of the striped shirt, but in the pictures the graduated necklaces looks best IMO. Victoria looks a bit busy. Hope you get something you love!

You have amazing taste. You can't go wrong with either of them, but I would definitely choose one of the two Victoria necklaces. They're both stunning. I personally love the alternating Victoria necklace, but the line necklace is absolutely timeless. I couldn't recommend one over the other without knowing more about your style and the rest of your collection, but I love them both.

I'm not a fan of the larger graduated necklace. While the diamonds are beautiful, I don't think the three-prong setting flatters them. The prong at the bottom of the diamond stands out too much and seems to change their shape. The Tiffany line necklace is also a three-prong setting, but I think the placement of the prongs is much more elegant.

You make really valid points, thanks for your input. I am currently working on refining my personal style. But I wear a lot of navy monochromatic clothing, sometimes grey. I gravitate towards Scandinavian style just not quite as edgy as it can be at times. I try to add an interesting detail via necklaces or scarves. Stripes are also frequently used but obviously a lot of solids as well. From a necklace perspective i feel like I have a lot of areas covered except this style and maybe a layered diamond piece. I have 2 Tiffany t necklaces when I want a more delicate look, a vca vintage Alhambra pendant for everyday ease, a vca magic 16 necklace that I usually wear either double looped or triple looped but it can be worn long, a vca diamond pave long pendant that I usually wear double looped vs long and I am very comfortable wearing it with jeans-tee-sweater for a bit of contrast and then lastly I have a diamond solitaire pendant. I am strictly a white gold and platinum gal, no variation there. So I am leaning towards the Victoria alternating as I think that it can add interesting detail as well as uniqueness and feel as though the line style is a staple and will always be around should I want to add it to my collection later. Given all that, do you still gravitate towards the alternating Victoria as well?
