I keep looking at the Tamara ombré scarf & the Sadie satchel, but don’t want to buy yet another item sight unseen and end up returning it. I’m in Edinburgh next week, so if sale is still on I’ll be able to get a proper look.

My Hampstead arrived….annoyingly the zipped pocket is small, and my phone only fits without thd case, so I’m still undecided whether to keep it…I love the bag, and it definitely adds something different to my collection…does anyone have ideas for increasing security in a bucket bag? Maybe an organiser with a zipped element?

Have you managed to resist? I wasn’t keen on summer khaki until i saw it in person.

I put a scarf of some sort over the top of my things when the bag doesn’t have a proper closure .. however a zipped organiser would be much better!

Yes, a few friends have suggested a scarf, but can’t it just be nudged to one side?

I went into a Mulberry shop yesterday and strongly gravitated towards a lovely mini Iris hobo in cornflower blue! I was there just to help my friend choose between colours for a bag purchase of hers, and ended up keeping her company by getting a bag of my own. It was an impulse, as I had not done any research online first, but it was an easy choice to make once I saw the bag on the shelf. The only difficulty I had was then to leave behind a small Sadie satchel in suede and leather, which also wanted to come home with me

I've resisted so far, but I'm looking at it now and I love it. Hubby's making it worse by transferring his stuff to his new summer khaki wallet
