I personally think the small (white) one is the best size. The mini really is a going out back ie phone lipstick cards. The largest size (saddle or satchel) loses some of its delicacy in the large size. I hope that makes sense. In my opinion I wish I’d got my black one in the small not mini.

I ordered the summer khaki mini Alexa bag in the recent Mulberry sale! On my Wishlist (as I am undecided) are the Small Darley, Lily (undecided on small or medium) and the Sadie satchel (small with help from @MrsPenners). Any thoughts on which one is better or other recommendations on which are your fave Mulberry bags?

Do they offer free returns on sale items? If yes and if you have the fund, I'd suggest order all three models to try them on to see which one suits your lifestyle best, or if there is a store in your vicinity, maybe you can go there to look at them?
Maybe I'm biased but Darley (the rectangular one) and Lily are my absolute Mulberry favourites. I think the medium Lily (the 21cm at base one) might hold more than the smaller (mini) one. However, the medium Lily's base can sag with use as it is not as supported as the Darley or Sadie, so it may detract from the charm of the bag, but of course only if that bothers you.
Another thing to consider is the strap. I personally think the Sadie would be a bit more comfortable to carry and a bit more functional. Plus I have a feeling that if I had a Lily I would have to baby it more than the other two. (Having said that, I'm still on the hunt for a Lily - that bag is just my aesthetics)
I hope you will finally find the bag that is most suitable for your need!

Unfortunately, I don’t have a store near me where I can look at the items. I’ll give it some more thoughts before pulling the trigger. I like that the small Darley can potentially also be used in more formal events. I am missing something for more formal events in my collection. It does look similar to the small lily so I don’t see a point in having both. The med lily and sadie has more of a casual vibe. I did not know that the med Lily can sag with use — thanks for the info. I think it might eventually bother me. I will have to think hard about this. Lol.

Did you decide on whether to get another out of those three styles?

I have a small Darley and a regular Lily but actually I think the small Sadie is more my style. My Lily comes with me on some evenings out and my Darley remains new in the wardrobe! I keep thinking I will get a Sadie but i have a Bryn and two Antony’s (small and regular) which are different but similar. Not sure if made any sense there. I suppose it depends on 1) you personal style and 2) is it for everyday casual or occasional smart use? Also, what colours are you fancying?

I have not bought anything else yet. Was gravitating more towards small Darley and/or Sadie. Convincing myself I don’t need all of them. Does Mulberry sale happen only in the summer? Was wondering if they will have another one in the fall or if I should wait another year…
