I got to see the Carly in person this afternoon - I like the medium more than the large. With regard to the the pouch. I would feel very silly carying it as a small bag.

I love the pictures of the pebled sachel on the web - in person it's still nice but not what I expected! I don't think either will come home at a full price - I can wait to see what else they come out with.

I did get to see a legacy wallet in person. I wasn't expecting to like it and did very much - so go figure!

They had the Carly in kahki sig & white trim, but it was only out as a pilot, I'm surprised they didnt sell it now, its gorgeous!! I had the chance to get one, but foolishly didnt.

The original line of satin bags last summer -- I wanted the lime green so badly but no stores around here had it so I had the store ship one to me at home. That's when I discovered that it only kept a good shape with the stuffing, not with my stuff! Back to the store to return it.

Then later in the year, I ordered the embossed signature pouch back when that line first came out, but when it arrived, it was so TINY that I had to return it to a store. That's when I finally made my new rule that I don't buy Coach online w/o seeing it IRL first. It was hard holding to it when the plum suede Legacy bags weren't available IRL in VA, but I'm glad I did because otherwise I would have paid full price for a bag I just got discounted at the outlet this weekend. :)

Yeah, I'm running kind of cold on the Carly's right now, and I used to like slouchier bags. I am also being wooed by the more structured bags!

I love my holiday patchwork wristlet, and wanted to get the tote in that same design...but for some reason when I see it IRL I'm not that excited. And I'm totally bummed!!! Oh well, guess that's $$ for something else.

i saw it with white trim at my local coach store! it was sooooooo gorgeous! even my best friend was like, wow, that's nice and she hates the idea of designer handbags!

Well when I met him he acted like he was ALL THAT...then we dated and soon got engaged...............Looking forward to the "night and finally seeing It" ...................OH your talking about bags!!!!

Oh, it's late.... I've got to get to bed!

As for Coach, I haven't been disappointed yet. But I did just start my Coach obsession, er collection, so I'm sure a disappointment or two will come my way sooner or later! Hope it's more later than sooner!

Many, many items have been dissapointed in person. My biggest one was the embossed collection. I was in love with the book bag online, when I went to the store to get it. I hated it.

honestly, pretty much all the stuff out now is disappointing in person. i went in the store, walked around, and was very underwhelmed. the only thing that stood out was the boston bag. the rest was very blah to me.
