what happened to coach?

You hit it dead on.
This has made me move on to other brands.
Not too long ago my husband offered to buy me a new bag from Coach - any one I wanted. We went in there but there was literally nothing that I really wanted (I wasnt going to get something unless I was in love with it). He ended up suprising me with an LV a little while later (thats a whole nother addiction now!).
Funny thing is yesterday he was complaining about how never should have gotten me off of Coach.

Same thing happened to me - my sweetie offered to take me to the Coach store, but when we got there, they didn't have one thing I wanted. I thought it might be temporary, but I've been back in there a few times and there's still...nothing. What happened to all the beautiful leather bags? Why did the designs get cheesier when the prices went up?

I've also moved on to LV, and it's bad for my wallet, but I'm addicted now!

^ I'm officially starting to save for my first LV..but I can't decide on the monogram or vernis?? But I will still always love Coach..when they don't have anything I like..I might tend to stray.

They've had the same designer since 2000 or 2001, I think, and I know he's been gradually shifting the focus to more trendy items with cheaper materials.
There was an article posted here a month or two back about him.
Sometimes I cruise eBay for vintage Coach stuff, but it's just not the same as buying something new.
