A few years ago I was carrying my red Dooney Ambler bag. I was at my bank because I tried to use my card at a gas station and it was canceled. According to the banker that gas station had a high stolen card usage so my bank canceled my card for security reasons. Anyway, while I was at the bank I got blue ink from my pen on my bag. I immediately worked on getting the ink off in the middle off the banker's sentence. I was so focused on getting it out (success!) I forgot where I was until the banker asked, "Did you get it out?" She saw she lost me and just sat there quietly while I worked the problem.Who said I wasn't screaming???(screaming on the inside!!!)
But now I know that I can get away with spilling coffee LOL.

The leather shoulder strap came with the bag. I carry it on my shoulder to/from the car. If I want to shoulder carry it somewhere I don't need to adjust the crossbody strap.
It is nice to have a personal Safeway/Walmart shopper in the family. Her tip is whatever personal item(s) she adds to my shopping cart.

When I did the "triage" the bag was the most urgently in need of help to save it. I knew I was getting my money.
