Hi, I'm new here. That's because I've never cared much about bags, until recently. But now, for what ever reason, I'm obsessed with getting a high end designer bag. I'm looking at LV, PRADA, and Celine on ebay, but really don't know what I want. It's going to have to be vintage because husband would have a heart attack if it's over 1000. One thing is that I like shoulder bags, I'm not an arm girl. I like to have my hands free. So what designers should I look at? Who would I get the most value with? And I'm going to want it in top condition, no smell/stains/scratches. Or, should I just scrap the vintage and push for new (it could be my Christmas/birthday/Mother's Day present for the next couple of years, right?)

Out of the 3 you mentioned I say go for LV as you will find a good range of brand new classic bags that would last you a long time. Price point is probably from over 1K to 2.5K for brand new bags but the resell value is great

I am just starting my handbag collection and have not even dabbled into high end. Some bags I have recently taken an interest in are as follows: Givenchy Antigona in black, Fendi 2Jours in one of their reds, Louis Vuitton Siracusa GM, Speedy 30 or 35 Bandouliere in damier ebene or monogram and Tivoli (basically I want a bag in all the basic canvas prints) and last but not least the Stella McCartney Falabella in black.
