what does your pandora creation look like?

It is very true that you do not see much of the bracelet be it gold or silver once it is full, however it does take a while to fill a bracelet with gold beads. This will mean you will see alot of the silver bracelet for potentially quite a while depending on budget.

The great thing about Pandora is that you can make it work for yourself in whatever way suits best!

You are right, it does take awhile for most folks to fill a gold bracelet. I have seen a lot of Pandora bracelets but have seen only one gold one worn by someone outside of a Pandora store. It was lovely, but not for me. My colouring is such that silver and white gold look best on me.

I keep thinking of the charm bracelets of the 60s. Lots of people sunk a lot of money into gold bracelets that they never wear now. Mine was silver. I bought a pretty bracelet and paid more for it than most of my friends paid for theirs, just because I knew it would take me awhile to get as many charms as they had. I wanted it to look nice on my hand when it was not yet full. Recently, I removed all the charms and am wearing it as a stand alone bracelet. It is delicate and lovely on my hand all by itself.

So if you want to take that logic one step further, maybe investing in the gold bracelet and fewer charms is not such a bad idea.

Alliemia -- are you thinking about the ALL gold bracelet or the one with the gold clasp?

If you want to go totally gold, remember that once the bracelet is full, you can't see the bracelet part anyway. I have a bracelet that has more gold beads than two-tone and no beads that are just sterling silver. I decided to get the silver bracelet with the gold clasp for that very reason. My budget couldn't afford the 14k bracelet ever, so my indulgence is the gold clasp. I have other bracelets with the sterling clasp that are lovely, but the two-tone bracelet is by far my favorite! It's a very affordable way to have the best of both silver and gold worlds! IMO

thanks so much for all the info! I went back to the store today, and the SA mentioned going with the silver bracelet with gold clasp. But since they are doing the promo for a silver bracelet next week, I decided to start out and make a silver bracelet. To see how I like wearing it. After that, I'll work on a gold one, but use the sterling/gold clasp bracelet, as the all gold bracelet is $1300 which is a little insane, IMO.

What I got today (on hold for next Fri) is the silver bracelet, 3 forget me knot beads and a green soccer ball. Then I had to go to another store that carries pandora to get the red soccer ball becauase Pandora was out.

Once I get my stuff next Friday, I'll post a pic of my bracelet. So excited!

FINALLY! Photos of my completed "Good enough to eat" two toned candy themed bracelet. I put a lot of thought into putting this one together and am so pleased with it. It features the Pandora wedding cake, cupcake, sterling silver and gold strawberries and a few others. Plus some very unique non-pandora sterling silvers to go with the theme including a little ice cream, popcorn and cherries. The glass beads are all OOAK artisan beads by my favourite lampwork artist and follow the candy theme with candy floss beads and sweetie beads. I have a hard time keeping this one out my mouth!

What do you guys think? Got to laugh right!! :D I think its unique.

Today I got myself a bracelet with a gold clasp and I love it!!! My silver bracelet is almost full...all the charms are very meaningful to me...I intend to build a mostly 2 tone/gold bracelet now but I will try to go slower on this one:p.
I love how everyone's bracelet tells a different story...it is so addicting trying to figure out what bead to add next.
I have decided to get a bracelet for my 3 year old daughter. She won't get to wear it till she's at least 6 and we will buy her charms for her birthday and xmas every year and hopefully,it will become a treasured piece of jewelry for her.

I couldn't wait any longer - I went and paid off one of my 14k lotus muranos so my bracelet now has a pink murano too!:D

Pictures, pictures, please :) That pink lotus murano is one that I wish they also did in silver. If they did, it would be on my bracelet, too. Yours is getting to be very pretty, I must say.
