what do you use for Travel / Carry On ???

I use a wheeled suitcase from Lands' End carryon and for under the seat a MZ Wallace Kate nylon large tote that has lots of pockets for organization. In my suitcase I might put a small clutch with a strap if I need to go out in the evening. Otherwise, I empty my Kate of extras and use it during the day as a large handbag.

The 1 suitcase I pack, as I never check luggage.

Plus a canvas tote with handbag/weather-necessary gear/book/any purchases made.

There may be a couple pieces of fruit in there, if I haven't left someplace prohibiting this.

Same here, remainsilly, I never check luggage.
I generally use my Ceannis ImageUploadedByPurseForum1424282179.115262.jpg
Or my Catherine ParraImageUploadedByPurseForum1424282235.421642.jpg
as my handbag,
In my Samsonite carry on suitcase , I put my Le PliageImageUploadedByPurseForum1424282307.892376.jpg.

You're a much more stylish traveler than am I, Mariapia!

Lovely bags.

No, no, remainsilly.... It's pure strategy.... The first two bags are medium++size... Imagine I fall in love with a bag when I reach my destination.....where would I put the one I used on the way to the place? Certainly not in my carry on....
And as I love big bags.... I would not put the new one in the carry on either....
Hope the whole thing makes sense.....😳

Makes perfect sense, especially to other tpf members. ;)
Very smart idea.

I never check my luggage, even if I'm flying internationally for a trip over a week. I just use a small Brics' Magellano 21" Carryon Spinner as my suitcase and the LV Neverfull GM as my purse (which, let's be honest, is like another small suitcase).

I never ever check bags unless I have gear (skis, climbing gear). My main carry-on is a 21" Rimowa Salsa Air Ultralight (upgrade from the Salsa Air). My second bag is a large tote or cross-body (Valextra Babila, Longchamp Le Pliage, or Bottega Veneta medium Gardena).

The Rimowa holds my clothes and shoes. The personal bag holds toiletries and other things I need during the flight - noise canceling headphones, a pair of socks, shawl, etc... Easy peasy way to travel as I only have to worry about two pieces. I'm off the plane before everyone and through passport control before anyone else.

I usually have to remind the car service that I'm usually through security quickly so I don't have to wait for them. Last time I had a new driver and he said he'd never seen anyone get off the plane and out of the airport so quickly.

Same here, apey_grapey! Everyone should travel light!👍👍

I use my Longchamp tote when flying, but would like to know if what other options are out there? The only issue I have with this bag is that there is no compartments. Just one big bag. When I travel I usually put my LV inside of it, a bottle of water a wrap, etc. and it then gets heavy. Any other solutions?

I almost never check luggage. I have a carry on suitcase, and as I always have electronics and various nicknacks, I carry one of my larger bags like my Marc Jacobs Rio or a Smythson tote. Since my purses are with me at all times, I'm not really afraid of using my designer stuff (and I like to buy bags on trips, so I'd end up with something designer on me anyway).

Ever since I bought Rimowa I never buy other luggage except for LV Keepall 45 (yet to use it lol) I still use my Longchamp Expandable Nylon Traveling Bag that I fold up inside my luggage in case I need more space.
