I can speak from experience on several of these. I have/ have had 3 of them. The hobo, the tote, the ring tote.

The tote, it is the heaviest purse I have ever had. The snake part of the handles are heavy metal and fall into the tote when not being carried. I returned it asap.

The hobo is cute but just isn't worth the $. It folds over when you set it down. Once again, those snake metal pieces are too heavy.

The ring tote is a nice bag. I kept it. It is lightweight, can be carried on the arm or shoulder.

The drawstring satchel, just like the Beverly satchel, the drawstring will not lay evenly where it comes together and goes into the little metal piece.

The MbMK bag, cheap, IMO. Wouldn't have it.

ITA. It's beautiful.

Thanks for your input, nascar!

I'm very picky about weight (hate heavy bags!), and I thought the Tonne tote wasn't as heavy as similar other-brand bags. I've tried on and owned much heavier bags from Marc Jacobs (had to sell them kuz I simply couldn't carry them due to their weight), Chloe, Lockheart, YSL, RM, Hayden-Harnett (one I still have and love, regardless), and others whose brands I can't remember right now.

I agree that the Skorpios Drawstring Satchel is a bit like the Beverly; it's definitely not my favorite of the bunch, but more towards the bottom of the list.

As to the Layton, it's a MICHAEL MK bag and, therefore, cheaper in price than the others. But, IMO, the quality is the same and not "cheap." I've had several MICHAEL bags, which I chose because I simply liked their design and features (and price!), and they've turned out to be the most durable bags I've had. MICHAEL is to MK what MbMG is to MJ. I like both lines the same.

This one is gorgeous, I mean stunning... what is the price...

The bag in your photo is not called the Skorpios Ring Satchel, that bag is actually from the Tonne collection (it's the shoulder tote) and retails for $995. I work at the Michael Kors store in Bellevue, WA and we have it in black. I have seen it in black and luggage colors on the MK website but I'm not sure where you would be able to find the cream color in the picture. The bag is fairly heavy however it is currently my favorite MK bag!

I know. It's the Tonne Shoulder Tote. If you go back to my first post you will see that the first two photos--black and beige bag--go with the first name. The names of each bag are at the top, not the bottom, of the photos. :smile1:

ETA: I just noticed you were probably addressing Coach Addict. Yet, it's a good idea to clarify it, just in case anyone else is confused about the names. Thanks.
