42 and really like the totes. But ya, they are young looking, so I'm careful...lol...not the super bling ones but some shine and bling. Perhaps I'm just immature in my purse agenda...lol. I have a beautiful cream handbag with the gold G...nothing more blingy. And a tiny hobo style in black and fabric with the larger clasp; same style in the large tote. Recently, my kids picked out a very shiny bowling bag looking purse for me...I love it because they do, but it is SO over the top.

The purple Eve Hobo is so soft...just lovely in person. I was looking at a Marc by Marc Jacobs in the same shade, and the Guess was just as soft. http://shop.guess.com/ProductListin...=ProductListing.aspx&sort_option=New+Arrivals

i completely agree with happy942. i think they look cheap and the outdated guess logo plastered all over the bags is what i think make them look like tacky

just my personal opinion of course, but where i live, everyone has them, and I think they have contaminated the whole world with a whole lot of ugly:tdown:Remember, my personal humble opinion only.:smile1:

I loved them when I was a teenager (age 15 to 19)!

Now I can't stand them anymore...

Too flashy, too much logo's and some styles are obviously ripped off from other designers. I recently saw a Guess purse that was clearly a rip off from the Gucci Hysteria bag: same shape, same details, same coated canvas. Only the logo was different.

And now that I think of it; the quality of my Guess purses wasn't great either (stitching coming loose, etc.). Lucky I got them all on sale (most of them for 50€), because they're definitely not worth over 150€, IMHO...

Just my opinion, of course! :smile1:

They still seem to be very popular with the teens over here.

I love Guess! I wish there was a store near me. I bought so much from there in Florida last year! I've been meaning to buy some stuff from ebay but I wasn't sure on the authenticity!
