Perfectly put...I couldn't agree more. It's all relative to what your tastes are like. I think it's a gorgeous ring, and personally love more vintagey-looking e-rings.

A note on Fay Cullen...I read that they have a tough return policy, so if you are thinking about getting it, make sure that it's something you really want.

I think it is gorgeous.

IMO, the real question is if you think you will still like it 10,20, 30 years on down the road.

And if not, how will your husband feeling about you changing it?

I think it's gorgeous and if YOU love it, I say go for it!

I got engaged in May and my ring is Art Deco in style and not a traditional engagement ring 'look' in any way. It's actually a band of diamonds, not a solitaire type style. I wanted something unique and not traditional. Both my fiance and I love my ring and it is definitely a ring I will never get tired of. I plan to add another band for the wedding ring. Not something matchy-matchy, but complimentary. Some people have looked at my ring and raved about it, others think it's bizarre that I didn't get a "traditional" style. But I really don't care because I love my ring.

So...if every time you look at the ring you get a smile on your face and a little flutter in your heart for your fiance...then that's the ring for you!
