What do you think of DKNY bags? Are they good quality?

I also had another DKNY purse (leather and canvas) that wore like steel. I wore it everyday for 5 years or so. This was the time when I had only one bag. Then I started branching out and gave it to my mom.

Hi, I really love some of the DKNY bags I think they look very stylish and not tacky and have great prices. I was just wondering what peoples opinions are of the brand, for example do you see it as cheap work horse bags or would you be proud to carry DKNY? Thank you I'm just curious of people opinions:)

I had a DKNY leather bag and it was a workhorse. Hadn't used it in years and so my mother took it off my hands.

The quality was good. I needed a bag that could hold lots of kids stuff and take abuse and it fit the bill.

I see them at TJ Maxx all the time and have always wanted one, but have never taken the plunge. Just by inspecting them, the quality appears to be very good, the leather is some of the softest I've ever felt.. like a babies bottom.
lol, especially their quilted bags.

DKNY offers good quality stylish bags that are worth their price. I wouldn't mind getting another one - I own a huge moss green cotton DKNY Jeans tote and just adore it. I don't see why you couldn't have a workhorse bag that you can carry with pride; DKNY has some really pretty bags, although I'm not crazy about the monogram print...then again, the new blue denim ones have me drooling! Crazy weird woman can't make up her mind :roflmfao:
DKNY also does saffiano these days, which always looks good.

I had a DKNY evening bag once and the hangtag (two colours of metal and obviously meant to be left on as a decoration) broke apart (came unglued) in the bag on the way home from the store! That kind of put me off the whole brand for future, but if I remember correctly the bag itself was OK.

I have several DKNY bags. Two large Saffiano Work Shoppers, one black, one ivory. One White Beekman in french grain leather. One tan french grain workshopper. One french grain burgandy workshopper. DKNY is my new favorite. Great quality and they hold their shape. I have spent a lot more money on "premium designer" bags that don't last and look tacky. DKNY bags are class all the way.

I used my black leather dkny bag more than my LVs, it's more carefree and a workhorse. Love it, it's also chic and simple and looks more professional.
I do feel that I should be wearing my LVs more but the dkny is just so carefree.

I don't have one but I remember being really tempted in the past.

As others have said DKNY look like they'd give some premier designer bags a run for the money

I got me a DKNY saffiano tote, as it was the best size (Originally considered the MK Jet set travel totes in small or medium, but this is conveniently right between the sizes) and the quality of the saffiano seems good and stiff.

This one (without the fugly scarf, took it off:)

I love how it looks impeccable, is light and fill fit everything for work, also that the handles are adjustable and seem sturdy and there's a magnetic snap to close it instead of the hook and loop closure many other this kind of bags have. It is a teensy bit too "classical and simple" for my taste to make it a favorite outside work, but the pro side is that since it is simple, I can attach whatever fob or scarf I want to it. :D

I'll post a pic later, too.

I have one that has stood the test of time. I've had it so long that I can't remember when I got it. Other bags have come and gone. Premium designer bags entered my life. I still will not part with the DKNY. Black leather tote with bows on the front pockets. Beautiful and feels like a dream.
