What do you personalise in styling on your Hermes Bags?

I take a different approach to styling my bags. I like marks, smudges, stains & the occasional paper, hat, scarf or food item sticking out of the top. I know its not your usual decorations but I like they way it looks!:p

Snaps to you! Then it is definitely personalized when your stuff is sticking out  Food stains really make it yours and if they are your food stains, then way cool!! :p

My feeling is that aside from the charm or scarf/pochette/twilly on the bag which I do all the time, the fact that that I AM THE ONE WEARING IT personalizes it enough for me

Of course, if JB is walking with you then we are all envious and speechless!

Sounds like my idea of personalisation. Instead of twills and scarves jauntily tied, I have soft toys stuffed inside along with Thomas the tank engine figures, snacks, at least one set of extra clothes and sometimes a tennis raquet. Not quite styled, but it does represent my life.

Ha,Ha, I did that once too.... Thought I lost one of my bags and had to check all the other boxes one by one, it's actually quite an effort!

I can only imagine...:faint:Seriously if I thought I lost one of my bags I don't know what I would do...

I believe that the owner's persona should personalize his/her posessions(bags incl.): Bent turnlock on my workhorse cognac epsom birkin - once checked it in as a luggage inside a soft borbonese suitcase :lawl: This is the same birkin I once forgot at the customs x-ray belt and haven't noticed it missing for 24 h :tispy:

:rofl:I love this!!:rofl:Aminamina your the best!!

Ahh Thomas excellent choice!:DWell thomas represent your life and my excess of stuff in my bag represent my life!! It works!!:p

But there is one personalization that a lady had on her birkin that I loved...Hello Kitty!! Soo cute!

a twilly for each bag :) still haven't found one for my choc B tho.

i mistakenly bought a kelly en perles in navy (should have taken the teal one) then found out it didn't go with the choco. but a fuchsia bag organizer is seen inside.

I usually tie a scarf or twilly on to tie it all together with whatever I am wearing. Most of my bags are neutral, so the scarf will usually have both the bag color (or similar) and one of the colors I am wearing. If all else fails, at least the scarf should match my earrings or hair (which is very red, but burgundy or bronze in the scarf will do).

Let's not forget a few sweet treats to bribe good behavior. :D

I managed to break off (!!!) two of the loops on one of my agendas. I still don't know how I did it. >_< I blame polish drinking games. I guess I might as well "tear off " the last one and make it a super personnalized billfold or how about credit card holder! (not very rpound of this and made me swear off sovietska "champagna".

I will drape a really colorful H scarf from out of the bag on occasion but typically I just place twillys on the handles. I try to change the twillys quite often for a bit of color...

Julide  you know the wacky way I am(and I know you like Olive Green colour:p)
