What do you gals think about LV jewelery?

I actullay fall in love with the flollowing ring the first time i saw it at Louis Vuitton bouquet, but the price tag scared me away.
If you like the design of yours, then it worths the money you paid.

I was thinking about this ring as well~amazing, creative and glamorous. But I have to save money for it for a long time...:(

Admittedly, I am not an expert on jewelery and I don't have much knowledge about diamonds and other stones, so I purchase them mostly because of designs instead of whether it is made by a jeweller brand. For eample, I found two similar bracelets with the same materials (black onyx beads with sterling silver) in the same price range (HK$2000~HK$3000) but from different brands, Tiffany and Mont Blanc. To be honest, the Mont Blanc one is much more exquisite than Tiffany, the real jeweller brand and I chose Mont Blanc finally.

I don't quite understand why some gals thought LV jewelery is overpriced. For example, the price of my LV necklace is US$1550. And I found a Tiffany nacklace with exactly the same price as following picture. How can we evaluate it? :p

I do like LV jewelry, and I have the Vegas Chain, that I get a lot of use out of. But, I don't know if I would spend that kind of money on LV jewelry..........I'd prefer Cartier, Tiffany, Bvlgari...........just to name a few. I think these designers are much more in demand, and might retain the value of the jewelry more. JMO

I like the look of louis vuttion watches on line but I have never seen any of louis vuttion jewllery in person.
Does anyone have the tambour rose pop watch in pink?
Please post a Pix I would love to see it.

I agree with the majority here. LV is well known for bags and luggage, the fine jewellery line came out not too long ago; whereas Tiffany and Cartier has been around for decades making them a more popular and classic choice for jewellery, IMO.

Although I wouldn't pay the premium 'designer name' price for LV jewelry, I also have no interest in their bags and leather goods. I think the fact that they're more known for handbags, any efforts at jewelry are a side line for them, not their main focus.

Good topic.

I was debating on an LV piece just this week and decided against it as I don't think its worth the price. I think your paying a major (an even higher than you pay for T&Co, Bvulgari etc) premium for the name "Louis Vuitton." I will stick with their bags and luggage but at the time, not the jewelry.

I think like any branded jewelry piece, you are paying more for the brand name than the quality or quantity.

If you like the design and can afford the ticket price, that's all that matters, ultimately.

I think the Louis Vuitton fashion jewlery is gorgeous but way over priced for what it actually is if you compare it to Tiffany or Cartier

I love the inclusion bracelets for example but in the end, they are just plastic and £300...

however, their fine jewlery collection is to die for
but again
for the super rich!

Agree, Louis Vuitton's fine jewlery collection has a really unique design. I love the ring, but i can no way afford it right now. It is priced for super rich people.
I told my husband i was willing to trade my 2 Lv bags, and 1 gucci bag (all the desinger bags i own) to the ring. well, that is way way way not enough.
So i guess i have to just let it go!!
