Hey gals, I am new here and cannot wait to join the discussion with you.

Apart from some traditional premier jewelery brands such as Tiffany and Cartier, Louis Vuitton has its fine jewelery products as well. Well, what do you think about them? I just purchased a necklace called Stand by Me with the free engraving service and it cost me HK$11700. I am not sure whether it is worth the money, compared to Tiffany or Cartier...

I had LV ring and I wish I had not bought it. I wore it twice and ended up selling it on ebay. I don't think LV jewelry worth for your buck, Tiffany and Cartier is worth more for the buck and it has better resell value.

i honestly think it's overpriced for what you're getting. just becaus it has the louis vuitton name doesn't make it fine jewelry, imo. i would stick with the experts in this case and go with cartier.

I actullay fall in love with the flollowing ring the first time i saw it at Louis Vuitton bouquet, but the price tag scared me away.
If you like the design of yours, then it worths the money you paid.

I wouldn't compare LV jewelery with Cartier or Tiffany. The quality of the stones are not the same therefore do not justify the high price. However if you like the design and have the money then you can purchase them.

Most of my jewelery are custom made, that is I like to buy loose stones and have a setting made for them.

I actually really like some of the Louis Vuitton fine jewelry, like the ring posted above. The thing about it is, I wouldn't buy it because it was a good value for the materials that make up the jewelry (stones, metal, etc)- I would buy it because I liked the design. Some of their designs are beautiful and creative- if you like it and you can afford it, why not?
