what do you do when you really want a certain bag BUT don't have the $$?

I don't have the money to buy bags and just have them collect dust, so I sell other bags I don't use. Untill I graduate from school, I only buy bags that I know I'll use. Man, I can't wait to graduate from school! I can buy a bag every month.

You'll be the nurse with the nicest bags!

For example, I'm dying for a marc jacobs blake and I can set aside $ and save up, but what if they don't have the color I want by the time I have the cash?

I just sold anything worthwhile on ebay to fund my soon-to-arrive YSL Muse so I can't raise extra cash. Hmmm, wonder how much change is really in the sofa cushions?

Save and wait. If the Blake is no longer around by the time you have the money,you can bet your life that there'll be 10 other drool-worthy bags.

I typically sell bags I do not use and then save. I don't like to charge them b/c it feels like an albatross around my neck.

I wait for my tax refund check ... that bad boy came in the mail yesterday, and I already deposited it this morning!!

Also, I sell clothes, shoes, or handbags I do not use. This definitely helps a lot!! Just did some spring cleaning so we'll see...

I used to sell my bags but after having huge regrets and sellers remorse, I've stopped doing that and just wait it out until I have the funds.

I've made the mistake before of splurging on a bag that I think I won't be able to find... only to find it months later, when I've finally paid off the credit card... which means I should have just saved for it and spared myself the interest.

There are some bags that will be harder to get in the future than others... the lv cherry blossom collection comes to mind... but a MJ blake is an annual fave in their collection... you'll definitely be able to find one you like by the time you have the cash for it!

i save save save until i have enough. seriously, everything i purchase from lunch out to a chocolate bar to new blush i think "do i want this or my new bag?" usually i'll put whatever i'm about to buy back.

if the color isn't there or its discontinued by the time i have enough money, it wasn't meant to be, sadly. i can usually find something else i want just as much.

I definitely try and save money when there is a bag that I act like I can't live without. The money really adds up fast when you save it for something that you really want. I also sell stuff on eBay that I have no use for anymore. And of course if I'm feeling really lucky I will gamble to try and win some money.....hey i am here in Las Vegas!

Save my $$, stop going to any malls (tend to get tempted to spend) until I am able to save up for that dream bag. In the meantime, I will spend hours at PF drooling over other ppl's bags
