MD. Used to rotate my bags to hospital. But now in private practice, mostly use just some big shopper because of paperwork I need to take with me and proper food (does not fit in the medium bags...) and the shopper also spares me the hassle to take another bag for groceries I make on my way home (can't drive). Have to think practical. Would love to take my other bags though...

Former early childhood educator/assistant daycare director and now stay at home mom. I used to carry a MK bag to the daycare even though I had a couple of LV bags. One day decided to start carrying lv to work too since they’d just sit in my closet. We only had those ikea kallax shelves to store our belongings but theft was never an issue.

Now as a stay at home mom I continue to carry my LV bags but usually stick to my hands free cross body styles.

There’s a couple of cousins in my family and a close friend that share my obsession, SIL on the other hand used to make comments about my bags being expensive but has recently stop commenting (I can see her stares/looks of disapproval lol).

Stay safe everyone!

I'm an RN and I do not bring any of my bags to work. I have separate everything for work--cardholder, shoes, underwear and socks that are designated for work only. They are not worn or used other than at work. I clutch my pearls when I see people with their LV (usually the neverfull) at the hospital. But, hey to each their own.
That being said, I do enjoy my bags when I get to use them.

I work PT in real estate so I do get to take my bags when I go to an office or out for work activities. Most others in my town/industry have nice bags so mine aren't noticed in a real way. During the quarantine I've been wearing the same Coach Saddle bag with no real interest in changing out to an LV, Chloe, etc. I'm just not in the mood right now and my only trips are to the grocery store. I can't wait to get back to work so I can pull out my pretty bags, scarves, clothes, etc!

MD, finishing up residency. It's funny - when I was in a surgery residency people were all about $$$ and designers. It would have been the norm to carry a 1k+ bag to work when we are working with the poorest of the poor in an inner city hospital. After switching to Family Med for various reasons (long story), people are much more conscious about wearing $$$ labels around a patient population who lives hand to mouth. Also in general FM docs aren't splashing out the way surgeons are, and both fields are in the >5% bracket in general. (In general a lot of residencies serve poor areas as funding for residency comes from the government and it is required.)

I work in media and marketing for lots of startups and ecomm brands, and yes I wear them, though I sometimes am hesitant for the flashier bags like LV mono or Chanel. Often I wear a Chanel reissue, Marni trunk, or my Chloe bags because no one knows what they are and I’d rather not worry about the impression I’m giving off.

I worked in high end fashion PR (LV was one of our clients!) and editorial back in the day but I made no money so didn’t own any luxury bags then, but would have worn them to work if I had them, it was all I wanted!
