I saw this bag in person the other day and I thought it was much much prettier in person! It was very classy. But like everyone said... the color transfer is scary and that color is the prettiest color. =(

i wanted to buy the minna street to take with me to vegas...but the SA cautionned against it saying that its super hot (not favorable for vernis) and that the risck of color transfer in heightened in this kind of weather.

I agree with everyone here. I think 'summer bag' and I think of a bag that I can throw around and take to the beach without too much of a hassle. Sounds like this one might be too much maintenance....

It's a beautiful bag, but I think it'd be too much upkeep, with worrying about color transfer, dirt, etc., especially in summertime. I'd rather have something I can sling around more for summer.

If you set your Vernis piece down on a newspaper, for example, the ink can transfer onto the bag. This can also happen when you have a heavily dyed garment on, such as dark denim/indigo jeans. There are probably other items that cause color transfer...

I think it will be tough to keep this bag looking great over the summer, especially since you're in Florida, where it gets hot, sticky and humid.

i love the vernis houston. i have it in beige. first season and another true classic. it definitely comes with instructions for upkeep and all those concerns are real... heat, color transfer.... but i haven't had a problem.... definitely NOT for everyday.... (my cruise mm tote canvas is filthy! now that's a summer bag! and i love it getting i looked worn out!!! good luck on deciding.
