What do you all think of the vinyl scarf bags?

I love them, but I guess they are a little bit pricey, and since LV is not available in my country yet I'm not really able to purchase anything anyways.

I really don't like them all that much. I think they are WAAAY to expensive for plastic coated silk. When they arrived at my local store, even though I didn't like them at all, I still asked to look at them, and they just felt cheap to me. I just can't imagine spending about $300 on a cles, espeically when its not all that cute...IMO. I'm kind of glad there weren't a lot of things I liked this Spring because that means I can just buy more from the Fall Collection!

Agreed! I saw the pochette in person and didn't like it at all. It looked tacky and totally reminded me of gucci.

yer i saw the line IRL today in the LV window and tbh i didnt like it to begin with and i still dont like it now. BUT... everybody has their own preference and some people love it, or it wouldnt be selling at all.

I owned the brown pochette and got a lot of compliments!!! I love this bag totally in the first sight and it is so adorable~~

My mom carries the Cabas and she's in her 50's..she's had nothing but compliments on it since it's so unusual. You always see the monogram canvas but both of us have had tons of compliments on them since they never knew about the line!

As for the Gucci thing..sure they may look alike but IMO, LV did it much better. I'm not a Gucci fan in general so I'm sure that's my biased opinion but these bags are simply gorgeous and not meant for everyone to have..hence the short run of the line.
They will definitely be collectors items and though some stores may have more than others, according to my SA, this one is selling out faster than the Perfo.

I'm new here and just bought a LV charms pochette clés in brown/white and I think this little keyholder is a classy version of an 80s theme (the gold chain scarf design). The colors are beautiful, the leather is so soft, it's much less stiff than the (also beautiful) multicolor keyholders for example. I find the little lock charming. However, the large bags look cheap IMO, way too much "plastic" (or vinyl) on them. I would never buy one of those.
I didn't like the perfo line, the colors (green, orange, pink) didn't really go with the brown...:blink: They still have lots of perfo bags at our local store. <br> Does anyone know anything about the fall collection?
