This price increase is crazy. I've been wanting the neverfull pm in de for years now. I nearly bought one on Monday for $1620 from my SA but passed and then the price went up to $1960 so that morning of the price increase I went on fashionphile and bought one without the pouch in excellent condition MIF for $1310. Take that LV.

I completely agree with you. I bought my capucines bb in galet in Feb 2020 for $4300 I think??? It's now $6750? And the resale value doesn't hold up. They sell for around $3000 in excellent condition on fashionphile. I rarely ever use mine even though it is a gorgeous bag because it doesn't hold as much as my Montaigne bb. I thought about selling it recently but now I'm happy I held on to it. Went up $2500 in 2 years??? It doesn't make sense.

To play devil’s advocate, resale value may increase now that the retail price has also increased. Historically, price increases yield higher resale value as well but time will tell…I did see, however, the mini sunbeam color on Fashionphile for over $5000, so maybe some of the more sought after colors and styles may hold their value better.

i ordered the 6 key holder as well. I already have one that is off being repaired by LV due to glazing issues, and i miss it a ton.

i tried to order the Alma BB in DE, but I couldn’t get any one in client services to email me or get them on the phone. I still plan on pulling the trigger on that bag in the next couple months, as I think by the end of this year it will also be over 2k.

My 6 key holder is also being repaired. I missed it so much that I ordered another the day before the price increase. At least now I have a backup.
