what did she do to her face?

I had a friend who was an esthetician. she said she saw a lot of women with problems from PS. I do think there are women who do subtle things and get great results though. Meryl Streep comes to mind.

There are often long-term side effects, as there are with any surgery, plus side effects that develop over time. Doctors don't warn patients about them because they don't know or don't care.

Then there's the fact that if you ever need any serious surgery in the area where you've had plastic surgery, say for a tumor or cancer, the surgeons may be left scrambling/freaking out because they don't know exactly what sort of modification of muscles, nerves, etc. they are going to find when they open up the area. Even dentists can have qualms about doing simple dental procedures in areas where there has been surgical alteration.

You really do want to try to keep all the original parts in original working condition as you age.

a work friend told me about a woman she knew who had some cosmetic surgery on her face. she looked good so she wanted more. the second procedure caused her face to be paralyzed on one side. tragic. I don't know if she used a top notch surgeon or a discount one but there is always risk.

Most of the procedures my doctor did got fantastic results. He was very much in demand. He worked on a lot of famous people.

When they do a nose job, they break your nose. You can hear the loud crack. That was gross. There were other things I saw that were gross during the procedures, even though the results were great.

As we age one of the weird spots we lose fat is our temples, next to our eyes. I have had filler there twice, but it weirded me out both times being so close to the optical nerves, and the fact that for some reason it hurts to open your jaw after having filler there.

I had a doctor (who I did NOT use) tell me that older women have egg faces, WTH??? He was trying to sell me on stuffing more filler there.

Anywho, I have friends who like myself avoid filler in certain areas, as you lose the fat, and the skin sags, if you overfill popular areas: cheeks, nasolabial folds, lips, you do start to look very distorted. You are not putting filler into all the places you have lost fat, just a selective few, so you will inevitably look "unnatural".

I get my lips plumped a bit - that's it. I have seen too much work done and it's not attractive. Aging sucks but at least we are alive! I'm into skincare, makeup, haircare, and overall appearance. What is really freaking me out is men who are now touching their faces. I see a man at work who is so botoxed up - both of his eyebrows are skyhigh. Men touching their faces is 100x worse than a woman - not sure why...
